This page is dedicated to my Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens, or PBGVs as they are commonly  called.  They are French scent hounds, and although they are not considered to be a rare breed, they are not often seen.  Their friendly, fun-loving personalities make it difficult to not love them at first sight.  They have a mind of their own, and keep you guessing all the time.  Don't leave that steak too close to the edge of the counter either or you'll be going out to eat!

Sneakers was my first PBGV and my soulmate.  He got me started doing machine embroidery because I could not find anything with PBGVs on it.  Roger was already doing stained glass, and  made one of a PBGV as a gift for me.  Since then we both have done many items to promote this wonderful breed.

Boots moved in with us in June, 2005.  He's a southern boy from Miami Beach, but seems to like the New Hampshire weather just fine.  He learned the ropes from his big brother, Sneakers, and has stolen our hearts.  Boots has been taking agility lessons and seems to like most of it.  The jumps, tunnels and weaves are his favorite and he prefers to sit at the top of the A-frame instead of coming down.  We need to schedule more lessons before we can go any further.

We lost our Sneakers just after his 9th birthday to bone cancer in 2007 and brought Buzz into our lives early in May 2007.  Buzz was 6 months old when we got him and he is just a sweet boy.  He is very calm and gentle and just loves food, attention and more food!  He's really a clown and makes us smile all the time.  He's 1.5 years old now, and I call him a goof-ball because of his crazy antics.  Just wish he'd leave the cat alone.
